Paradise; the thought that comes to mind when I think of my time in Curacao at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort. As soon as our transportation pulled up to the beautiful 2,000 acre property of Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort I felt at home. The grounds of the resort was truly something that I have never seen. The lush gardens, to the desert cacti, to the roaring waves, and the perfect palm tress, it was paradise. The staff and hospitality at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort were impeccable. They took care of every need we had. They spoiled us with a breathtaking water view that we enjoyed sipping coffee every morning from the balcony.
The Atabei Spa at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort was so unique. Their practices and services are all named after the creator of life, the mother earth. At Atabei Spa all of the treatments are created with the natural and organic products from their native land, to Awaken, Hydrate, Nourish and Renew. Their treatment rooms are out of this world. Every room has a private changing room area instead of locker areas and an outdoor swiss rain shower with a private outdoor relaxation patio. My massage treatment was something I will never forget, it is a must do!
From lunch to dinner, to drinks to dessert, the food was perfection at Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort. We took at Catamaran snorkeling trip one day on the JonaLisa that is docked right on the property of the resort. Captain Rod and his crew, Iain and Emmanuel were excellent and took us to the best spots around the Island. That day was so much fun in the sun and we would of loved to spend another day on the water!
