What a fun photo diary, but an even better experience. Our weekend at Sheraton Bay Point was one we will not forget. As you all know we got married a little over a month ago and we have just been on the run ever since the beginning of September. When Sheraton Bay Point reached out and asked if we would love a weekend getaway, we jumped all over it. It was just what we needed to relax after all the hustle and bustle the last weeks. As soon as we stepped foot onto Sheraton Bay Point we were mesmerized by its beauty. This was my first visit to this area of Florida and I was delighted by its beauty. Sheraton Bay Point is off the beaten path of the typical Panama City Beach area and it sure boasts its own unique character. The property sits right on the edge of the bay with a personal and private dock about a mile long with the cutest open air restaurant at the end. Their private dock is also home to the Bay Point Lady where you can take a 20 minute beautiful boat ride over to Shell Island. Shell Island is a stunning white sand crystal clear blue water beach and also an untouched state park. Shell Island was the most amazing experience, we could’ve spent a week going back and forth and never getting sick of its beauty. We enjoyed so many amazing meals on property, Tides was our favorite dinner but we ate lunch every afternoon at Flipflops pool and waterside restaurant, be sure to order the avocado fries! Yum! Sheraton Bay Point offers so many activities for all ages. From a day at the beach or pool, paddleboards, jet ski or pontoon boat rental, fishing, kayaks in the bay, beach bike cruisers, to golf, tennis or even a day at the spa! The possibilities are endless at Sheraton Bay Point . We enjoyed a beautiful round of golf at the Nicklaus design course that intertwined along the bay and its was to die for! It has been of our favorite courses we have played together to date. On our last day before check out I enjoyed a message at the Serenity Spa. The spa has the most amazing hot tub and facilities. The service and hospitality we received at Sheraton Bay Point was beyond expectation, the perfect weekend getaway.
