Nestled on the Eastside of Harbour Island in Dunmore Town sits a beautiful house and cottage right next to pink sand beach. The land is known as Touchstone Property and this may be the best getaway we have ever taken. The house has two bedrooms with a total of 1 queen bed in the master and three twin beds in the guest room where the two beds can be pushed together for a king. The living room is perfect for gatherings, offering more than enough space with a bar setup and lounging area around the TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at the house along with a grill on the patio.
The true beauty of this property, is the outdoor space. There is a total of four patios, offering their own relaxing atmosphere. The patio leading from the living room offers a cozy couch with two separate chairs for lounging under the trellis surrounded by palm trees. The guest room patio has a netted hammock snuggled under the coconut trees. The kitchen patio offers the same setup as the living room patio, with the addition of a grill and a table to eat with friends and family outside under the sun or stars of the island. The last and our favorite is the patio outside of the master bedroom, offering two lounge chairs perfect for soaking up the sun.
The entire property is surrounded by lush landscape giving you a sense of having the entire Island to yourself. The crashing waves on pink sand beach can be heard from both inside and outside the house. The walk to the beach is through the front gate of the house and up a sand dune, which is an entire 53 steps away. With the rental of both the Touchstone house and Touchstone cottage, you can easily have the whole family enjoy a once in a lifetime trip or just enjoy renting one of the gems of Harbour Island.
