One Ocean Resort and Spa.  B.E.A.C.H. = Best escape anyone can have.

The beach is always a great destination for a vacation and One Ocean Resort may have the best location in the Jacksonville area. Nestled right on the beach, One Ocean offers views and direct access to the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel also sits right next to great shopping, dining and nightlife in the Atlantic Beach Town Center. We were able to eat fine dinner at the hotel restaurant, Azurea that has a menu boasting of fresh seafood and then walk around to some of our favorite local spots without the hassle of driving and looking for parking. This is always such a great selling factor for us when selecting our future travels, walkable activities! Be sure to grab a cocktail at the famous Lobby Bar with Hugh, he has been serving drinks there for 18 years! 

The moment you step inside those double iron doors you are greeted with a lobby full of seaglass, gorgeous shades of blue, and modern ocean inspired design with a grand staircase leading to the Spa and guest room elevators. The One Ocean Spa is located on the second floor, giving you views most spas on the ground level of the beach can’t offer. The spa staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect, giving you the opportunity to just relax and enjoy.  

Our favorite feature of the hotel is the docent services they offer included in your resort fee. I am always in the need of a snack or beverage when I am travelling and with the docent service they offer complimentary in room mini-fridge juices, sodas, and bottled waters along with a drawer full of snacks. They will restock it as often as you want as well, so if you have kids, this is a dream! You will never have to jet off to the store to get the kids a snack. The docent services will also make any reservations for you that you need, press your clothes, and shine your shoes. 

The rooms have huge sliding glass doors and a luxe bed with a balcony that boasts plenty of room to sit and watch the sunrise every morning on the coastline. We truly enjoyed our time at One Ocean Resort and Spa and we hope to be back soon.
