Since we all seem to be in a snow storm this week

Literally, I feel like my friends all over, are in a snow storm!
The south got hit bad this week, the west coast go hit bad the beginning of the week
and well me, I live in a everyday snow storm now.
So lets break down some basics on what will get you through till Spring to stay warm.

Wear some Down Layers:

number 1
number 2
number 3

Throw on a Hat and Mittens

My favorite bottoms to wear in the winter months are a pair of cozy black leggings.
Then the undershirt is mandatory for maximum warmth, to keep the heat it.
Choose the fabric next to your skin carefully, preferably in silk or a silk/wool/cotton blend.

Leggings and Tank

Stay warm lovelies.

I hope you are settling into our Canadian winters. Congrats on the house. Have you tried Icebreaker for layering? They keep you nice and cozy warm, especially if you are skiing or in an arena. http://www.icebreaker.com/site/index.html

  3. I’m glad you think black leggings are great for the cold, too! Whenever I wear them layered with tall boots and heavy layers up top, people always say “aren’t your legs FREEZING?!”, but they are warmer to me than anything else!

I have been “stalking” your blog for a while now. Especially for tips when I headed to Florida for a break last year. I am especially enjoying your account of your Northern journey in style. ( If it helps you feel any better – I am located 6 hours NORTH of Toronto !… How is that for a visual on snow) 🙂 LA
