Trying to transition between seasons is one of the hardest things to do when you are on a budget. The best way to do it is by finding a few things that match almost everything you already own while still having a fresh feel for the season. By purchasing just a few key pieces, you can take almost any wardrobe into summer:
1. White Shorts: White shorts, like these from Old Navy, will go great with the shirts you already have in your closet from tank tops, to long sleeves; from dress shirts, to casual tees. White shorts match everything and they will be a great fresh and clean add to your summer wardrobe.
2. Sandals: Get some nice sandals, {no, not rainbows} but nice, sturdy ones, like these from Tory Burch and Jack Rogers, that are perfect for dressing up a casual outfit, or dressing down a dressy outfit.
3. Tote Bag: Find yourself a great tote bag in a fun color, or print. This will be great to add a pop of color and flare to any outfit. {Lilly Pulitzer, Tory Burch}
4. Neutral Wedges: These are great for evenings out with friends. Even though Summer is usually a bit more casual, there’s no reason to let go of the height of a heel, and let your toes breathe some of that great Summer air. Also, Neutrals are perfect for matching everything you already have. {Nine West}
5. Turquoise jewelry: Turquoise is an amazing color for Summer. It will always add a great pop of color to any neutral outfit, and the natural mineral adds an organic element that’s great for the season. {Kenneth Jay Lane, Max and Chloe}
