Monday’s Routine:

Today I am working on legs & cardio and I had Journey with Sean, my husband who is a certified trainer, share the movements he demonstrated for me. You can read more about my fitness journey here.

Weights: 5×10 (5 sets of 10 reps) barbell Good Mornings (I did 60lbs) superset with Dumbbell Sumo Squat (I used a 60lb dumbbell)

5×10 Step ups (I used 8lbs dumbbell in each hand for 10 reps each leg) superset with a single leg hip thrust (10 reps each leg).

5×10 Back Extension (make sure you squeeze your glutes) superset with dumbbell front squat (I used a 15lb weight in each hand resting them on my shoulders)

Cardio: Treadmill: 20minutes total (EMOM)– 1 minute on 1 minute off 

Start at a 4.0 incline and a 5.0 speed.

JUMP OFF treadmill (leave it running as your time for 1 minute) On the off minute: Do an entire minute no breaks of:

1st minute off Wall Sit, then next off minute Split Lunges, then next off minute V-Ups, then next off minute Sit ups, then next off minute Bicycles. (you will repeat each off minute exercise one time for a total of 10 minutes)

Repeat this every minute on the minute and raise the speed .3 every time you jump back on, if you can push yourself raise the incline up .1 every time you jump back on.
