Guest Room is now complete

I hope I am not boring you with all my home renovation posts.
You know how it is when you move in a new place, you want it to be perfect.
Well that has been me everyday this month.
Go Go Go Go, until every room in the house is complete.
This weekend I tackled guest room number 1.
It was a MESS before, I hated everything about it.
I actually switched the furniture in guest room 1 and 2.
I just felt like they needed to be moved.

So here is the before shot:

yuck. bed squished in the corner. yuck.
those bright colors. just not me. yuck.

So, Here is the after.
I went and bought a new comforter set and made a new accent pillow to match the pillows
that I had made to go with the bright color bedding.

Ah. this room might be better than the master room right now.
I am just so in love with it.
I wanted to make it feel like our guests were at a hotel.
Lots and Lots of pillows and then I made a sweet tray of goodies.
A bar of soap, a rag tied with a ribbon, and a mason jar with a candle in it!
