Finding the right shade of Blush
Picking the right shade of blush can sometimes be easy but also a lot of times very challenging. This is going to be more of a Blush 101 post but I hope it helps you when you go to pick up that new shade of blush. Blush is a great assest in makeup and it brings out the natural colors that your face may be lacking that day. It highlights your features and is a great beauty product to wear.
For Fair Skin…
Fair skin should complement their natural color with a shade of soft pink.

For Medium Skin…
Medium color skin looks great with a shade of blush in the warm peach or a dark pink color family.

Darker skin complection should lean toward a shade of rich reddish brown or a sheer orange red shade.

i’m a Nars Orgasm user, but i’m almost out. and while i love it, i want to try something new! i would probably fall under the medium category, and that Clarins pallet looks interesting 🙂
Totally agree with you! I have SO many blushes but right now I’m loving a coralish color from Tarte’s Amazonian Clay collection. it seriously lasts ALL day. Honestly, if there is one beauty item that is a must have for me daily, it is blush. I look like death without it!

I have a summer time blush (for when I’m tanner) and a winter time blush (for when I’m sheet white), both Bobbi Brown, but great post today 🙂
I also use Nars orgasm and love it but also almost out.. ha! I was actually looking at blush yesterday and got frustrated trying to figure out a color and gave up.. I love the nars org. but trying to go cheaper!
@ Jenn..if you are a Nars user you should try the new benefit makeup blush called bella bamba. It was modeled after Nars and I love it!
